Ambriel Is Now Available Inside Claude

You can now run company checks, AML screening, and fraud checks directly inside a Claude conversation — no dashboard, no separate tab, no copy-pasting data between systems. Just ask Claude, and it pulls the answer from Ambriel in real time.

What this means in practice

Instead of opening Ambriel, running a search, and bringing the result back into your workflow by hand, you can now just talk to Claude:

• "Look up [company name] and tell me who owns it."
• "Run an AML screen on [this person], nationality [X]."
• "Is this email address linked to any data breaches?"
• "Check this phone number for fraud risk."
• "Give me a full risk assessment report for [this company]."

Claude asks Ambriel the question behind the scenes and gives you a clean, readable answer in the same conversation — company registration details, ownership, sanctions/PEP status, risk score, or an audit-ready report, depending on what you asked.

Why it matters

Compliance and fraud checks usually mean bouncing between three or four tools: a registry search here, a sanctions screen there, a risk report somewhere else. Connecting Ambriel to Claude collapses that into one conversation — you ask a question in plain language, and get a complete answer, backed by live data instead of guesswork.

This also matters for something less obvious: increasingly, people don't start research in a search bar — they start it in a chat with an AI assistant. Being a tool that assistant can actually use, not just a website it might mention, is what puts you in the workflow when it counts.

What you can ask Claude to check

• Company records — legal name, registration number, status, owners, officers, financials
• AML screening — sanctions, PEP, and watchlist checks on a person or company
• Risk assessments — full company risk scoring, with a downloadable report

How to connect Ambriel to Claude

Setup takes about a minute:

1. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add Custom Connector
2. Fill in: Name: <code>Ambriel</code>URL: <code>https://mcp.ambriel.io/compliance</code>
3. Name: <code>Ambriel</code>
4. URL: <code>https://mcp.ambriel.io/compliance</code>
5. Click Connect, then log in to your Ambriel account when prompted to authorize the connection.

Once connected, you'll see a small tool icon in Claude showing Ambriel is available. From there, just ask.

Can I use Ambriel inside Claude? Yes. Once connected, you can ask Claude to run company lookups, AML screening, fraud checks, and risk assessments, and it pulls the answer from Ambriel directly in the conversation.

Do I need to know how to code to set this up? No. Setup is done through Claude's Settings menu — you just add a name and a URL, then log in to authorize it. No code required.

Is the data real-time, or does Claude already know this? It's real-time. Claude doesn't have this information on its own — every answer comes from a live Ambriel lookup at the moment you ask.

Can Claude run AML and sanctions screening? Yes. Ask Claude to screen a person or company and it checks them against sanctions, PEP, and watchlist sources through Ambriel.

Can Claude look up who owns a company? Yes. Ask Claude to look up a company and it returns registration details, officers, and ownership information pulled from Ambriel.

Can I get a downloadable risk report? Yes. Ask Claude for a company assessment report and it generates an audit-ready report you can download.

Does my competitor using Ambriel too create a conflict for me? No. Every account's data is kept separate — no customer can see another customer's searches or results.

Do I need a separate Ambriel login to use this? You need an existing Ambriel account to authorize the connection. If you don't have one yet, you'll be asked to log in (or sign up) during setup.
